Job Description

  • Develop and execute business development and market expansion activities across Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, importers, contractors, applicators, retailers and other key market stakeholders.
  • Serve as the link between local partners and international headquarters, ensuring strong market alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify new business opportunities, projects and strategic growth areas across the region.
  • Support distributor development through product launches, customer demonstrations, training initiatives and market activation programs.
  • Coordinate and support trade fairs, exhibitions, networking events and local marketing activities.
  • Increase brand visibility and awareness within the contractor, applicator and distribution ecosystem.
  • Gather market intelligence related to competitors, pricing, customer expectations and industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, Technical Service and regional leadership teams.
  • Travel extensively throughout the region to maintain strong market presence and stakeholder relationships.

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Market Development, Technical Sales or related commercial roles within a technical B2B environment.
  • Existing network and market access within one or more of the following sectors is must have: Paints & Coatings, Application Equipment, Construction Chemicals, Building Materials, Construction Finishing, Professional Contractor Solutions
  • Proven experience working with distributors, importers, dealer networks or channel partners.
  • Strong relationship-selling mindset with the ability to influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Solid technical credibility and confidence when working with contractors, applicators and professional end-users.
  • Track record of generating business opportunities through networking, partner development and market activation activities.
  • Experience operating within international and matrix organizations.
  • Fluent Polish and English; additional regional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Well-organized, hands-on and commercially driven with high personal credibility and a collaborative approach.
