Business Development Manager

A global leader in critical digital infrastructure is seeking a Business Development Manager (Data Centres) to drive service sales growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts.

The business provides critical power, cooling, infrastructure and lifecycle solutions to data centres and other high-availability environments. This role will focus on developing new service opportunities, expanding service coverage and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive service sales strategy and revenue growth across strategic accounts
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of service opportunities
• Identify maintenance renewals, warranty-to-service conversions and upsell opportunities
• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and key customers
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial solutions
• Work closely with account management, service delivery and technical teams
• Expand service coverage across existing customer installations

About You

• Background in business development, sales or commercial roles
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or related field
• Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to develop opportunities and achieve sales targets
• Customer-focused with a proactive, hunter mentality
• Experience within data centres, critical infrastructure, power, technology or facilities is highly desirable
• Utility-scale experience across energy, renewables, BESS or power infrastructure is desirable
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Engineering, business or related tertiary qualification preferred
