Bridgepoint Consultants provide services onsite at the client’s location and function as part of their team throughout the duration of each project.
We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Houston practice to manage the inside sales and marketing efforts for the local sales / client services team. Your responsibilities will be focused on supporting the BPC business development teams to drive client development and growth. This in an excellent entry level sales opportunity with career progression.
Successful Business Development Associates will have future opportunities for promotion advancement into full sales positions, recruiting and other internal roles in one of the many Addison branded companies. Ideal candidates will have a BA from an accredited four-year university along with interest in sales / business development career. This role is the best possible place to start a career in sales.
Generous bonus plan, training program and benefits. What You’ll Be Doing: As part of our collaborative Business Development team, you will... Set and attend meetings for Directors, Engagement Managers and Business Development Managers with new and existing clients and prospects utilizing cold and warm calling techniques, email campaigns, social media outreach and referrals Research target companies and define strategies for relationship development Stay on top of market trends and apply these to development within account portfolio Develop and understanding of regional market landscape and define account prioritization Create email campaigns, track campaign results and follow up on any client engagement resulting from email campaigns Help maintain the accuracy of contact database through market research and name generation techniques Play an active role in existing client management, ensuring that follow up meetings are set up Support sales team with custom materials including project profiles, engagement confirmations, coordination of marketing materials, and other ad hoc projects Perform client and prospect research; provide summary reports to Directors, Engagement Managers and Business Development Managers regarding M&A transactions, earnings updates, executive changes and other current events Provide content for company’s social media campaigns and newsletters Assist Directors, Engagement Managers and Business Development Managers in responding to RFPs and preparing presentations for clients Assist Directors, Engagement Managers and Business Development Managers with general office support including event planning, consultant communications and outreach Develop meaningful relationships with referral partners and decision-makers in your market Facilitate and attend local networking events with your referral partners for prospects in your area Participate in local networking organizations to help spread brand awareness Partner with practice Directors to identify, develop, qualify, and nurture new leads Prospect new companies and make introductions to the Bridgepoint team.
Continually expand your expertise and knowledge in the finance and accounting areas to ensure the highest level of personal and company success What We’re Looking For: 1-2 years of sales / business development experience building and maintaining relationships in professional accounting, finance, or technology fields Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and operate with a sense of ownership in building pipeline and expanding market presence Highly self-directed and resourceful , with the ability to manage priorities independently, navigate ambiguity, and consistently execute without heavy oversight Experience leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., generative AI, sales automation platforms, data enrichment tools) to enhance prospecting, personalize outreach, and improve efficiency across business development workflows Proven ability to test, iterate, and optimize outreach strategies , including messaging, sequencing, and channel mix, using data-driven insights Comfortable adopting new technologies and tools quickly to scale outreach and increase productivity in a fast-paced sales environment Strong curiosity and willingness to continuously learn emerging trends , including AI, automation, and evolving go-to-market strategies Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field What We Have to Offer: Base salaries starting between $70K-$80K plus bonus eligible up to an additional $20K/year in bonus.
