Business Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support cross-directorate initiatives through data-driven insights, structured assessments, and strategic planning. The role will play a key part in evaluating organisational maturity, identifying gaps, and contributing to prioritisation frameworks and roadmap development. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed cross-directorate analysis to identify trends, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement Perform maturity and gap assessments to evaluate current capabilities against strategic objectives Support the development and implementation of prioritisation frameworks to guide decision-making Engage with stakeholders across multiple directorates to gather requirements, validate findings, and align on priorities Contribute to the development and refinement of strategic roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organisational goals Translate complex data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Experience conducting maturity assessments and gap analysis Ability to design and apply prioritisation frameworks Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience supporting roadmap development and strategic planning Proficiency in data analysis tools and documentation techniques Desirable Skills Experience working across multiple business units or directorates Familiarity with strategic frameworks or transformation programmes Knowledge of project or programme management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2)
