Your Role

As Business Analyst, you’ll interpret and document business requirements and business processes, analyse and evaluate current‑ and future‑state business solutions, and contribute to the development, testing, implementation and roll‑out of system updates and enhancements.

This position is involved in operational support, projects and continuous improvement activities for corporate IT services and applications (e.g. Human Resources, Business Development, Information Technology and Finance) as well as IT services and tools related to subsidiary company operations (e.g. job management systems).

You’ll:

  • Analyse and document for the accurate input to the development of new and modified systems and processes.
  • Collate, extract and analyse information and present in various formants to various stakeholders within the business.
  • Identifying and defining business needs and problems to enable a feasible solution scope to be developed.
  • Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements.
  • Analysing data such as budgets, sales results, and forecasts to develop current state insights and forecast future state outcomes.
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Quantifying costs, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with operational, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by project teams and business representatives.
  • Collaborating with technical resources and business resources to develop detailed options, gap and impact analyses

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a technical Business Analyst
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • The ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical teams to solve business challenges
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex IT initiatives, applying analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience documenting business processes in Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN v2.0)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and present in front of internal and external stakeholders.
  • ECBA or CCBA certification or on pathway – Desirable.
