Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you will translate client needs into software requirements and drive the design of enhancements within CHAMP Cargosystems’ air cargo solutions. You will work closely with development and QA, documenting functional and technical specs, and validating solutions through defined test cases. You’ll create workflows and UI mock-ups to reflect real user interactions, while supporting the cross-functional team through development, testing, and issue resolution.

• Specify software development requirements to meet client needs and support development teams
• Analyze requirements using product knowledge to propose suitable enhancements
• Document functional and technical solutions with stakeholder approvals
• Define test cases and secure BA acceptance for deployments
• Create business process workflows and UI mock-ups reflecting user interactions
• Provide business and functional support to technical teams during development and testing
• Investigate incidents and support corrections implementation
• Build and maintain test libraries for manual and automated regression testing

• Air cargo business and processes knowledge (advantage)
• Knowledge of inter-system message formats, rules and applications
• Excellent written and oral English communication
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and reporting tools
• Knowledge of external interfacing systems
• Systematic problem-solving under pressure in a small team
• Knowledge of UX principles
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Experience with API testing tools (Swagger, Postman)
• API documentation using YAML
