Job Description
Overview We are seeking 2 skilled Healthcare Building Engineers to support the redevelopment and recommissioning of a 4-storey specialty hospital facility in San Antonio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major hospital transformation project , working on critical systems that directly support patient care and life safety. Location Requirement: Applicants must currently be based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within a healthcare environment Support commissioning and recommissioning activities across HVAC and critical infrastructure Maintain and optimise: Large-scale chillers and cooling towers Air Handling Units (AHUs) and ventilation systems Steam boilers and water heating systems Monitor and manage Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls Diagnose and repair: Valve and control systems Electrical distribution systems and backup generators Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and compliance Work closely with contractors and vendors during upgrade and refurbishment phases Ensure all systems operate in line with healthcare safety and regulatory standards Minimum Requirements 3–5 years of experience in HVAC or MEP engineering within a healthcare environment Hands-on experience with: Chillers, cooling towers, and AHUs Steam boilers and water heating systems BAS / controls systems Electrical systems, including generators Plumbing systems Proven stable employment track record Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, critical environment Preferred Experience Experience in hospital renovations, upgrades, or commissioning projects Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., life safety, infection control) Exposure to critical environments (ICU, operating theatres, etc.) Key Competencies Strong problem-solving ability Attention to detail and compliance Ability to work independently and within a team Effective communication with internal teams and external contractors Why Join This Project?
