Building Automation Systems Project Engineer (Atlanta)

Edison Smart are partnered with a growing company in Atlanta, GA who are looking to hire a BAS Project Engineer. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in building automation systems (BAS) and a preference for candidates who have worked on data center projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-performance, energy-efficient solutions across complex facilities.

Key Responsibilities Design, engineer, and support building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS) Manage projects from concept through commissioning and handover Develop control system architectures, sequences of operation, and system graphics Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting Support commissioning activities and ensure systems meet performance requirements Maintain project documentation, schedules, and budgets Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in building automation or controls engineering Proficiency with BAS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or similar) Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls theory, and system integration Experience with programming, graphics development, and control logic Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience delivering BAS/BMS solutions in data center environments Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure (cooling systems, redundancy, uptime requiremen
