A Little More About the Role Bridge Construction Inspector role combines technical expertise, on‑site observation, and strong coordination to support successful bridge projects.

The position is located in the Edmonton office and may require short‑term travel within Alberta. Responsibilities Construction project management: internal cost control, staff coordination and allocation, client communication, reporting. Construction contract administration: project reporting, quantity calculations, progress estimates, change management, meeting coordination, issue and claim management, scheduling, survey coordination, coordination with design/environmental/other disciplines/subconsultants.

Staff management for bridge construction site inspection and fabrication inspection, issue management, and reporting. Development and implementation of internal construction inspection tools, check‑sheets, ITPs, report templates. Continued development of proactive project management, contract administration, and bridge construction/fabrication technical skills.

Corporate initiatives: construction committee objectives, quality process development, constructability reviews, quality management audits. Qualifications 5–10 years experience as a Bridge Construction Inspector on major and standard bridges for Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors.
