Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner / Experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Location: Spokane, WA Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts Pay Range: Competitive pay, based on experience and qualifications. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing access to healthcare in our community. Nurse Practitioner Job Responsibilities Deliver Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive physical exams and medical histories, assess patient symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging, to guide treatment decisions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as part of patient care.

Provide acute and chronic disease management, ensuring that patients' health conditions are properly addressed and monitored. Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to improve well-being. Offer preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness check-ups.

Counsel patients on health maintenance, nutrition, and self-care strategies to promote long-term health. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans. Participate in case discussions and contribute insights on patient care management.

Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other healthcare team members as needed. Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly assess and monitor patients' responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary. Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Review patient feedback and advocate for improvements in care when necessary. Ensure Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain knowledge of the latest medical developments, evidence-based practices, and best practices for patient care.

Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other privacy laws. Requirements Education, Licensure & Certifications: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in WA.

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, etc.). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred. Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.

Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a range of health conditions. Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
