The Role: Billing & Operational Control Officer (Junior)

Location: Lisbon

Work Model: Hybrid (2x per week at the office), but the first six months are office-based full-time

Languages: English (Mandatory) | French and Spanish (Nice to have)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and legally authorized to work there

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Billing & Operational Control Officer to join our team. If you're starting your career in finance or operations and enjoy working with numbers, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll do:

• Support the validation and consolidation of monthly billing data
• Monitor consultant allocation and time tracking records
• Help identify and correct data inconsistencies
• Assist in the management of purchase orders and contract documentation
• Support invoice preparation and issuance processes
• Assist with client onboarding activities, including compliance and documentation checks
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and commercial teams on daily activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting activities

What we're looking for:

• Up to 1 year of experience in billing, finance, administration, operations, or a related area (internships included)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of Excel (mandatory)
• Experience with ERP systems or Power BI is a plus
• Basic understanding of invoicing or financial processes is an advantage
• English mandatory | French or Spanish is a plus
• Degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a similar field
