Bilingual Educational Content Editor

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and edit bilingual printed and digital instructional materials for Basic Education
• Curate, develop, review and edit physical and digital teaching content
• Plan and organize bilingual learning experiences that integrate subject areas and an additional language
• Develop materials aligned with the BNCC (Brazilian National Common Curricular Base), national guidelines and international educational frameworks
• Incorporate active methodologies, socio‑emotional competencies and technological resources into produced content
• Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic designers, editorial coordinators and proofreaders
• Oversee the layout process and digital adaptation of developed materials
• Ensure pedagogical consistency, textual clarity and linguistic appropriateness of educational resources
• Propose improvements and innovations to existing materials, focusing on meaningful and inclusive learning
• Ensure the delivery of high‑quality educational products aligned with contemporary educational trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Letters, Pedagogy or related fields
• Postgraduate degree or training in Bilingual Education
• Experience in editorial production
• Knowledge of competency‑based approaches and active methodologies
• Familiarity with educational platforms
• Proficiency in standard Portuguese and English norms
• Experience with text editing tools
• Clear oral and written communication
• Autonomy and responsibility in managing editorial tasks
• Organization and attention to detail
• Creativity, analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to deadlines
