Job Title: BEMM Author & Analyst Location: Dunton, Essex (full time onsite) Rate: £26.82ph via Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) – Increasing to £34.83ph after 13 weeks Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until December 2026) Hours: Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week Reference: F56489 Position Description The Special Vehicles team is responsible for BEMM that enable global partners to convert vehicles into specialised solutions. As we modernise, we transition to structured authoring in Adobe Experience Manager and integrate AI to streamline workflows. We are seeking a BEMM Technical Analyst with a logical mindset and project management experience.
In this role you will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of technical documentation updates, manage timelines for manual chapters, collaborate on AI projects, and ensure all technical content is accurate and delivered on schedule. Skills Required Technical authoring & delivery: create and maintain BEMM content, transitioning from MS‑Word to AEM Guides. Ensure technical instructions for vehicle converters are clear, accurate and compliant.
Project coordination: manage lifecycle of BEMM updates, track milestones, manage deadlines and ensure inputs from engineering teams are received on time. Engineering liaison: coordinate with SMEs to gather technical data and translate complex engineering changes into clear instructions. Collaborative AI support: identify and test AI solutions (e.g., FordLLM), support AI‑assisted translations and automated SME approval tracking.
Process improvement: identify bottlenecks and contribute to smarter, more efficient digital workflows. Experience Required Project management experience: proven ability to plan tasks, track progress and meet deadlines. Logical mindset: natural ability to organise complex information and understand technical hierarchies.
Communication: exceptional writing skills and ability to explain complex mechanical or electrical concepts simply. Attention to detail: quality‑first mindset; BEMM instructions are critical for safety and warranty. Digital aptitude: strong interest in AI and automation, curious about how LLMs can reduce manual administration.
Team player & communicator: excellent written and verbal communication, ability to build relationships with engineering stakeholders and work within a collaborative team. Experience Preferred Engineering knowledge: understanding of vehicle architecture, body structures and electrical systems (Commercial Vehicle experience is a plus). Education Required Degree level learning in a suitable subject.
Additional Information This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical detail of engineering documentation but also likes the bigger picture of project coordination. You will be a key part of a team shaping our client’s technical support through digital innovation and AI. 4‑5 days on site at Dunton, maximum one day WFH per week.
