Job Posting: Band 5 Registered Nurse Client: St Helen's & Knowsley NHS Trust Role: Band 5 Registered Nurse Rates: £20.00 - £34.00 per hour Shifts: Flexible hours, with shifts available throughout the day, night, and weekends Key Skills In addition to your qualifications, as a Band 5 Registered Nurse, you will have: Quick-thinking abilities Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations Excellent attention to detail & timekeeping A methodical approach to tasks Ability to work well under pressure Empathy, understanding & a flexible attitude A desire to learn and improve Competency in using IT systems Main Duties & Responsibilities As a Band 5 Registered Nurse with St Helen's & Knowsley , you will: Provide constant monitoring and care for seriously ill or unstable patients Support emergency admissions, planned admissions, and post-surgery patients Communicate clinical information effectively with patients and families Safely identify, prepare, check, and assemble equipment for relevant procedures Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct Conduct patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen level) Take blood samples and fit cannulas as required Write care plans, perform assessments, and make referrals Organise admissions and discharges Qualifications & Requirements Essential: Registered Nurse At least 2 years post-graduate experience 6 months recent NHS experience (within the last 3 years) Enhanced background check clearance Patient Focus If you are ready to showcase your nursing skills and passion for patient care , we can't wait to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
