AWS Cloud Security Engineer-Remote-Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities Cloud Security Support Provide guidance to application and infrastructure teams on AWS security best practices and enterprise security requirements. Assist teams in understanding security findings and identifying appropriate remediation actions. Help teams resolve non-compliant cloud configurations and reduce security risk.

Stakeholder Engagement Partner with cloud account owners, developers, and engineers to address cloud security issues. Communicate security requirements and recommendations in a clear and practical manner. Build positive working relationships with business and technical teams.

Security Monitoring and Compliance Review cloud security findings and work with teams to drive remediation efforts. Help monitor adherence to cloud security standards and policies. Track and report remediation progress for assigned engagements.

Required Qualifications 5-6 years of experience working with AWS cloud services. Good understanding of AWS security fundamentals, including: IAM Security Groups VPC Security S3 Security CloudTrail AWS Config KMS Experience troubleshooting and remediating cloud security issues. Understanding of cloud security concepts such as identity management, data protection, logging and monitoring, and least-privilege access.

Preferred Qualifications AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Security Specialty certification. Experience with cloud security tools such as Wiz or similar CSPM solutions. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
