Avionics Embedded Systems Engineer(DO-254 & DO-178) (Seattle)

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and verify hardware and firmware in compliance with DO-254 guidelines Develop and maintain embedded software in accordance with DO-178 standards Participate in system architecture, requirements definition, and traceability activities Support verification, validation, and certification processes for safety-critical systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and hardware engineering Produce and review technical documentation required for regulatory compliance Required Qualifications Prior experience in the aerospace or avionics industry Hands-on experience with both DO-254 (hardware/firmware) and DO-178 (software) standards (candidates with only one will not be considered) Experience working on safety-critical systems with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) A, B, or C Strong understanding of embedded systems design and development Experience with verification & validation processes in regulated environments Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
