Automotive Apprentice 3rd or 4th Year

ATC has an opportunity for a 3rd/4th year automotive apprentice to assist in the repair and maintenance of forklifts based in Gregory Hills. The successful applicant will join a fast paced team whilst completing their apprenticeship under the supervision of a senior technician. This position is an opportunity to specialise in a growing market and diversify their skillset.

Duties Will Include

• Servicing gas, diesel and electric forklifts.
• Assisting in the repair of hydraulic systems.
• Assisting in the repair of DC electrical systems.
• Keeping records on repairs and communicating these to both the client and head office.
• Adhering to all safety requirements.

Ideal Applicant Will Have The Following Qualities

• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Good time management skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Reliability.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift licence.
• Excellent customer relation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

The position may also include a company vehicle and tools after a qualifying period.
