Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Enscicon Corporation We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in industrial and commercial automated control systems. This role involves designing, programming, and supporting automation solutions across various industries, including energy, water treatment, manufacturing, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems and a passion for delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design, program, and implement industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Develop control panel designs and oversee fabrication processes. Collaborate with clients to understand automation requirements and translate them into effective control solutions.

Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation projects. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed systems, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. Participate in project management activities, including scope definition, scheduling, and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all automation projects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering. Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and developing HMI/SCADA applications.

Strong understanding of control system design, instrumentation, and process control. Experience with system integration and commissioning of automation projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).

Experience with CAD software for control panel design. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial automation. Certifications in relevant automation technologies or platforms.
