The Opportunity This is a role based in Bogotá (Colombia). This role enhances organizational strategy through automation of manual steps in testing, troubleshooting by consistently upgrading test scripts and deliver programs, projects faster to business units.
What You’ll Do
- Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases using Tosca
- Develop reusable comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to streamline execution and maximize coverage
- Integrate new test cases resulting from releases
- Monitor test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Develop strategy for reusable test automation framework across projects
- Provide hands‑on testing support using Jira Align Tool
- Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely documentation and resolution
- Support defect and enhancement reporting with detailed descriptions
- Maintain and analyze regression test cases across Jira functionality
- Communicate test status, progress, and issues to stakeholders
- Prepare and present test reports including coverage, defect metrics, and risk analysis
- Facilitate communication and resolution of quality‑related issues across teams
- Coordinate testing efforts, develop test plans, execute test cases, and report on test results
- Support rollout of the Tosca Testing Tool and establish new guidelines/standards
- Coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Overall 5 years
- Tosca Certification is a must
- Experience with the Azure platform and cloud applications
- DevOps Experience (CICD) - cloud application deployment and maintenance is a plus
- Proficiency in programming and scripting, examples Python, C#, Shell programming
- Knowledge of Enterprise Applications Lifecycle and tools such as bitbucket, Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud security practices
