The Opportunity

Our client, a leading Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join its growing Dublin team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified auditor looking to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries while continuing to develop their technical expertise and leadership skills. You'll work closely with experienced managers and partners in a collaborative environment that genuinely supports career progression.

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading audit assignments across a varied client portfolio.
• Planning audits, identifying key risks and briefing audit teams.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and audit documentation.
• Ensuring audits are completed in accordance with Irish GAAP, FRS102 and Companies Act requirements.
• Managing multiple assignments while meeting budgets and deadlines.
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact throughout engagements.
• Communicating key findings and issues to Managers and Partners.
• Coaching, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Identifying opportunities to improve audit processes and add value to clients.

About You

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Approximately 3+ years' audit experience within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, FRS102 and the Companies Act 2014.
• Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing junior team members.
