General Summary: Under general supervision, the Auction Services Associate is responsible for zone maintenance, vehicle preparation, vehicle receiving, inventory scanning, reconciliation, final quality of saleable inventory, vehicle movement (both on and off- lot), asset protection, and providing exceptional service to internal and external customers. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure daily maintenance and security of inventory and vehicle parkingareas Maintain and document the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory that is processed through the shipping and receiving facility Participate in auctionsupport Deliver and retrieve vehicles from off-site vendors Assist with training newassociates Adhere to standardized workprocesses Maintain a clean and safe work environment Take customers to and from destinations using shuttlevan Complete daily scanning and reconciliation of the vehicleinventory Performs wholesale reconditioningprocess Assists in the selling of wholesale inventory using auction systems and simulcast platforms Once certified, participate in gas reclamationprocess Monitors transportation of incoming inventory from satellitelocations Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers at all times Assists in other duties as assigned Job Specifications: Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accuraterecords Successfully work with associates of other departments within the geographiclocation Ability to multitask in a high energy, fast paced workingenvironment Strong inventory managementcapabilities Willingness to acquire knowledge of wholesale and Inventory operatingprocedures Complete CarMax providedtraining High School degree or equivalent work experience, preferred Working Conditions: Wear CarMax clothing (acquired through the company) at all times in the store Ability to lift up to 50 lbs(productsweighing more than 50 lbs may be handled by more thanoneperson and/or with mechanicalassistance).

Specifically, this job description is not a contract of employment and does not create any contractual rights of any kind between the Company and its Associates. The hourly rate for this position is: $17.40 - $28.00 Benefits: Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible: To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.

For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay. Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc. subject to manager approval.
