What Youu2019ll Do Paid Social is a critical growth channel at Canadian Tire Corporation, supporting both brand and performance objectives across retail and eCommerce. The Associate Manager, Paid Social owns dayu2011tou2011day channel delivery, leading a dedicated pod to execute highu2011quality, performanceu2011driven campaigns across key social platforms. This role combines channel ownership, people leadership, vendor management, and governance to ensure paid social programs deliver measurable business outcomes and meet CTCu2019s excellence standards.
Own paid social channel delivery quality, ensuring consistent execution, reporting, and insights. Lead the paid social channel pod, managing priorities, workload balance, and campaign delivery. Consult on the tactical strategy for the paid social portion of integrated media plans Serve as a primary vendor relationship owner, driving alignment, performance, and partner satisfaction.
Ensure the team follows established processes, frameworks, and ways of working. Lead and support performanceu2011driven paid social campaigns in a retail environment, focused on traffic, conversion, and revenue outcomes. Apply retail and omni-channel best practices to audience strategy, creative guidance, and optimization.
Contribute to testing, optimization, and applied learnings that improve channel performance over time. Develop, train, and certify talent within the inu2011house paid social team. Mentor team members on platform execution, reporting, insights, and partner communication.
Ensure accurate data capture, tagging, and measurement across paid social platforms and CTC digital properties. Collaborate with crossu2011functional partners (Planning, Creative, Analytics) to support integrated campaign delivery and new initiatives. Success in this role is measured across both performance outcomes and execution quality, including: ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, and traffic quality Spend pacing, budget stewardship, and delivery accuracy Quality and actionability of insights and optimization recommendations Testu2011andu2011learn impact and application of learnings Team compliance with processes and excellence frameworks What You Bring Bacheloru2019s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field 5+ years of paid social experience (agency experience preferred) Retail and/or eCommerce experience running performanceu2011focused paid social campaigns Handsu2011on expertise across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Reddit, and Pinterest Expert in Google Analytics Experience leading or mentoring teams and owning vendor relationships Strong understanding of media buying, measurement, and reporting Ability to operate effectively in a complex, crossu2011functional organization Weu2019re always looking for great talent!
