Job Title: Associate Financial AdvisorPosition Overview

We are a boutique wealth management firm serving a select group of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our team and support the delivery of thoughtful, highly customized financial advice.

This role is designed for an emerging advisor who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to developing into a lead advisor over time. The Associate Advisor will work closely with senior advisors to support client relationships, prepare financial plans, and ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience.

This is a W-2 position offering a competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Support

  • Partner with senior advisors to service ultra-high-net-worth client relationships
  • Participate in client meetings and ensure a polished, well-prepared experience
  • Manage follow-up communication and ongoing client service needs with precision and discretion

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, cash flow, tax, and estate considerations
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client data to support planning recommendations
  • Utilize financial planning software to model scenarios and present clear insights

Investment & Wealth Management Support

  • Learn and apply the firm’s investment philosophy and portfolio construction approach
  • Assist with portfolio reviews, asset allocation analysis, and implementation of investment strategies
  • Support investment research and due diligence efforts as needed

Implementation & Coordination

  • Execute account openings, transfers, and money movement requests
  • Coordinate with custodians and internal operations to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records within CRM systems

Professional Development

  • Adopt and internalize the firm’s wealth management process and client service standards
  • Pursue relevant licensing and designations (e.g., Series 65/66, CFP®)
  • Progress toward increased responsibility in managing client relationships over time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 1–4+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-facing presence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-touch environment

Preferred:

  • Series 7 & 66 license, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe
  • Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems
