The Associate Director of Institutional Sales will play a crucial role in broadening our network of institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investors, aiming to elevate trading volume and liquidity on our platform. This position is pivotal in driving the growth of our investor base and ensuring that Hiive remains a key player in the financial ecosystem.

What you'll do
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the pre-IPO securities market and the unique contributions of Hiive within this space.
- Oversee and enhance a portfolio that includes existing relationships with institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investors.
- Actively seek out new client opportunities while reconnecting with dormant accounts to boost platform engagement.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent and valuable communication.
- Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Sales to identify and develop new investor channels aimed at increasing market share.
- Achieve performance benchmarks while nurturing long-lasting partnerships with clients.
- Analyze market trends and investor needs to inform strategic decisions and sales approaches.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the specific interests of potential investors.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote Hiive and establish new connections.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and client feedback to refine strategies and improve service offerings.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development based on client interactions and market demands.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the sales team to share best practices and drive collective success.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in investment sales, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, mutual fund sales, or institutional sales and trading.
- A bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, or a related field, or a strong academic record in liberal arts or sciences.
- Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses is required, or a commitment to obtain them shortly after joining.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and managing relationships with high-profile investors.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, a strong desire to learn, and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
