Assistant Process Engineer (Bell Gardens)

About the Role We are seeking a Assistant Process Engineer to join our team at our Bell Gardens, CA facility. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on improving efficiency, food safety, quality, and equipment reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing technology, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements while identifying and applying new technologies.

Key Responsibilities Analyze existing processes and equipment to improve process flow, with a focus on continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and production efficiency Coordinate and support activities to resolve machine, equipment, and utility issues Support the Quality team in root cause analysis and corrective actions Manage and assist with preventive maintenance (PM) programs Drive process improvement initiatives and support manufacturing optimization efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on engineering mindset Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Compensation & Benefits $55,000 – $75,000 annually, with final offer will depend on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
