Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and/or teaching preferably in the areas of marketing strategy and planning, international marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence in marketing.
  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Supervise graduate students.
  • Participation in teaching and administrative activities of the Department and the Faculty.
  • Participation in academic activities, off-campus and abroad, that contribute to the visibility of the University and the Faculty.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration (preferably in Marketing). Doctoral students with significant progress towards their degree (i.e., ABD) and candidates with a Ph.D. from a related discipline who can demonstrate capacity to teach marketing topics will also be considered.
  • Ability to conduct research leading to high-quality publications.
  • Ability to teach university-level courses.
  • Ability to teach in French. Candidates not fluent in French at hiring are expected to be able to teach in French within three years of hiring.
  • Desirable: Ability to teach in English for some specialties.
  • Mastery of English for research purposes.

Conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: In accordance with the Collective Agreement

Starting Date: June 1st 2027 or other date as agreed upon by the candidate and the department chair.
