Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at McGill University invites applications for a full-time position as a member of the Contract Academic Staff as a Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical). The successful candidate will be based at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). This is a contract faculty position and does not confer tenure eligibility.

The rank will be determined based on the chosen candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The Department of Pediatrics is a leader in academic medicine, supporting excellent and innovative clinical programs across our teaching hospitals. The Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University, located in Montreal, Quebec. All pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties are represented at the MCH.

The Division of General Pediatrics currently has 40 members working in diverse areas, including development, inpatient pediatrics, newborn medicine, complex care, medical day hospital, Northern and Indigenous child health, and more. The division has strengths in medical education, epidemiology, health services and quality improvement research, and knowledge translation research.
