Job DescriptionAssistant Lecturer in Control Engineering (Permanent Wholetime) (Reference 189a/2026) The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Lecturer in Control Engineering. The post will be offered on a Permanent Wholetime basis, subject to the terms of the provisions of the Technological Universities Act 2018 and National Terms & Conditions will apply. The appointee will play an important role in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering both in teaching and conducting research in the area of Control Engineering.
The appointee will be required to teach on the Level 7 to Level 9 Programmes in this discipline area. Hours of Work:This is a wholetime post. In addition to teaching hours (up to 18 hours per week), attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and University.
Location: Grangegorman, TU Dublin. Salary: The Assistant Lecturer Salary Scale is: €47,572 - €64,372 Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale. Closing Date:5pm (Irish Time) on Friday 21st August 2026.
