Job DescriptionArchitectural Technician Location: Dublin | Full-Time | Permanent Salary: €45,000 €55,000 DOE + Benefits Join a long-established construction materials supplier with a strong market presence Blend technical design work with project support and specification development 50/50 split between CAD design and technical construction support Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician with a construction background THE COMPANY: A leading supplier of roofing, insulation and building envelope solutions to the Irish construction industry. Established for decades and operating nationwide, the company has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, product quality and customer support. With continued growth across the Irish market, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of an Architectural Technician who can support both design and specification activities.

THE ROLE: This role combines technical design work with project specification and construction support. Around half of your time will be focused on producing drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Revit, with the remainder supporting the technical sales and specification teams. Produce construction detail drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Design tapered roofing schemes and technical layouts Complete thermal insulation calculations Carry out rainwater and wind load calculations Prepare project specifications and technical documentation Support the technical sales team with project enquiries Review construction details and recommend suitable product solutions Assist with the management of technical project documentation THE PERSON: This role will suit an Architectural Technician, CAD Technician, Design Technician or Construction Professional with strong design software skills and practical construction knowledge.

A construction background is essential, and candidates from building products, architectural, engineering or contractor environments will all be considered. Experience as an Architectural Technician, CAD Technician or similar Strong AutoCAD experience Working knowledge of Revit Construction industry experience is essential Understanding of construction drawings and detailing Good technical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with both internal teams and external stakeholders Safe Pass certification is desirable THE PACKAGE: €45,000 €55,000 DOE Pension Discounted healthcare scheme 24 days annual leave Long-term career stability Training and technical development opportunities Early finish working hours pattern Opportunity to join a growing and successful organisation LOCATION: Ideally based in Dublin, Meath, Kildare or Wicklow, but open to candidates within a reasonable commute of the Dublin office.
