Job Description

Ignite Your Passion for Precision: Join a Dynamic Diagnostic Team in a Scenic Twin Cities Hideaway Overview Here lies an extraordinary opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Technician who's ready to combine their passion for science and precision. This full-time position, nestled in a bustling community hospital within the picturesque Twin Cities region, offers you the chance to contribute significantly to patient care through accurate diagnostic testing. You'll become an essential part of a dedicated team, enhanced by a comprehensive rewards package tailored to enrich both your professional journey and personal well-being.

What You Will Do Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other specialties-adhering closely to established protocols. Evaluate test results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist in specimen collection, ensuring that samples are primed for testing when necessary.

Keep detailed documentation of all laboratory procedures, mentor upcoming staff or students, and reinforce quality assurance standards. Uphold a safe, clean work environment, ensuring compliance with various regulatory and accreditation benchmarks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent accredited degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Obtain ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science board certification within one year of employment. Maintain your certification for the duration of your role with us. Skills Required Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective collaboration within a healthcare setting.

Adept at exercising independent judgment and solving problems, especially under pressure. Meticulous organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, crucial for quality control and thorough documentation. Why You Should Join Us Competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications.

Comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Generous leave package starting from your first day, inclusive of vacation and holiday time, particularly for experienced hires. Access to continuing education and professional development opportunities.

A robust total rewards package that prioritizes your overall wellness. Your Contributions Matter In this role, your expertise in the lab empowers healthcare providers to make informed decisions and enhances patient outcomes. Every test you conduct holds the potential to confirm critical health concerns, guide treatment paths, or highlight vital health indicators-underscoring your role in delivering high-quality patient care every single day.

A Cohesive and Supportive Team More than just a job, this position places you within a community that values growth and teamwork. With routine in-lab meetings, ongoing competency refreshers, and opportunities for process improvements, you'll find an environment teeming with ideas. Your insights and initiatives will play a pivotal role in shaping our lab's effectiveness, while mentoring newcomers adds to the enriching team culture.

A Lakeside Lifestyle: Embrace Local Charm Imagine a vibrant city where lakes meet lively neighborhoods-tree-fringed boulevards leading to sparkling waters, energetic farmers markets brimming with seasonal delights, and rich cultural events that bring the community together. Charming cafés serve as gathering spots for residents, from casual chats to spirited discussions about local happenings. Free time could be spent hiking scenic trails or catching outdoor performances in beautiful parks under expansive skies.

With a warm and welcoming populace, you'll find a healthcare community here that's just as collaborative. Close by are quaint shops, nature excursions, and cultural attractions, catering to diverse interests-from hiking to live music. Your commute is quick and efficient, facilitating a satisfying work-life balance away from the busyness of larger cities.

Affordability remains a highlight; housing expenses are manageable, allowing your salary to stretch further for memorable experiences-whether soaking in sunsets at local wineries or cheering for neighborhood sports teams. Your Role in Community Health In this nurturing region, every lab technician is more than just a professional-they are fundamental players in the health of the community. You will be witnessing your contributions manifest in a myriad of ways: quicker diagnoses, enhanced patient experiences, and more sustainable operational practices.

The many "thank you" notes from grateful patients and colleagues serve as heartfelt reminders of the impact you make in timely healthcare delivery. Take the Next Step in Your Career For those of you seeking not just a position but a fulfilling journey, motivated by passion and community engagement-this is the place for you. Whether you are freshly certified or bring years of invaluable knowledge, you will find encouragement and opportunity here at our organization.

Ready to Begin This Exciting Journey? Step into a space where your dedicated skills intertwine with a community that cherishes both innovation and human connection-a place where every test result contributes to real stories of recovery and healthiness. If the thrill of precision, collaboration, and heartfelt care resonates with you, then we are eager to make your acquaintance.

Apply today and become part of a future where your skills not only uphold scientific integrity but also enrich lives with every result.
