Area: This Area Manager will cover the Boston Massachusetts. Although this is a remote position, the AM will call on clinicians in office and will need to live in Boston Area. Position Overview We are seeking a high-performing Area Manager to drive growth and expand the adoption of Castle Biosciences’ innovative prognostic GI testing solutions within a targeted territory.
This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a complex healthcare environment and excels at building strong relationships with clinicians, oncologists and surgeons, key opinion leaders, and academic institutions. As a trusted partner to clients, you will quickly develop a deep understanding of clinical needs and account dynamics, leveraging this insight to execute a strategic sales plan and exceed territory goals. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally while leading territory strategy, expanding new accounts, and delivering impactful education through peer-to-peer engagement.
What You’ll Do Drive revenue growth and achieve/exceed territory sales targets Identify and develop new accounts while expanding existing relationships Build and maintain strong partnerships with academic and key institutional stakeholders Develop and execute strategic territory plans to maximize market opportunity Stay current on product offerings, competitive landscape, and clinical data Deliver education through speaker programs and peer-to-peer engagement What We’re Looking For Proven success promoting complex medical or diagnostic products (oncology, gastrointestinal, or rare disease preferred) Strong track record of sales performance (e.g., awards, quota achievement) Ability to build relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience working within team-based, regional sales structures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent experience preferred ~5+ years of medical or pharma/device/gastrointestinal sales experience (GI highly preferred) Strong understanding of complex disease states and healthcare marketplaces Experience with buy-and-bill products or prognostic testing models is a plus Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory (including overnight) #J-18808-Ljbffr
