Area Manager - Inside Sales

Role Overview RNDC is looking for a creative, collaborative, and professional Area Manager to join our growing sales team. The Area Manager is responsible for street execution of sales initiatives, the training and development of District Managers and Sales Representatives, and the execution of all sales/promotional programs. In This Role, You Will Establish, recommend, and implement strategies, objectives, policies, and plans for the division’s sales and profit objectives.

Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control the sales program. Travel sales territories to monitor field activities and gain perspective of current market conditions. Recommend advertising campaigns and performance incentive programs for the sales department.

Identify and communicate to the marketing department new product development and revisions of existing product lines and administer the budget for the sales program. Develop and maintain relationships within the marketplace and engage in negotiations to develop new business and resolve critical sales problems. Plan and develop sales meetings while monitoring and evaluating competitor activities and products.

Possess and operate a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient, prompt sales activities. What You Bring to RNDC Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. Three or more years of related experience, including two to three years of management work with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
