Job Description Job Description Job description: Rotterdam, NY insurance agency seeking Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our team. This candidate should be experienced in commercial insurance and the day-to-day agency operations. Immediate opening available for full-time hybrid position. Responsibilities: Gather client information and complete applications for new and renewal quotes/policies Rate/Quote all commercial lines of business, new and renewal policies, using carrier websites or submit for quoting Prepare proposals and propose new business and renewal quotes Ensure accuracy of account information on new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits Provide excellent customer service, fielding customer phone calls/visits, answering questions, processing payments, or reporting claims to carriers Process policy change requests and issue certificates, binders, insurance cards Maintain customer files with proper records, according to carrier guidelines Experience with an agency management system is a plus. We currently use EVO. Requirements : Valid NYS P&C License (Required) Commercial Insurance 2 years (Required) General computer knowledge and skills Experience with carrier websites Time management along with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail while providing excellent customer service is a must.
