Area Manager , EU CO Quick Commerce

Overview

In this role you will lead operational execution for Amazon’s ultra-fast Quick Commerce network across EU markets. You’ll run business reviews, design scalable standard work, and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and boost speed. You’ll collaborate with schedulers, stores, and delivery partners to uphold the customer promise and optimize performance.

This role combines hands-on operations leadership with data-driven decision making to scale a fast-growing logistics program. You will shape processes and cross-functional alignment to deliver rapid, reliable delivery at scale.

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews across the Quick Commerce network to drive accountability and action on KPIs
• Design and implement business review mechanisms for data-driven decisions and rapid issue resolution
• Create and maintain performance dashboards and reporting for operational health visibility
• Define and document standard operating procedures for shift handovers across time zones and shifts
• Develop scalable standard work for consistent execution across multiple stores and markets
• Design and implement quality control mechanisms to ensure adherence to standard work
• Build and optimize communication mechanisms between Central Operations, stores, delivery partners, and cross-functional teams
• Establish escalation paths and protocols for operational issues
• Facilitate information flow across shifts to preserve critical context during handovers
• Partner with operations teams and stakeholders to align priorities and resolve systemic issues
• Act as escalation point for complex operational challenges requiring cross-functional coordination
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Use data to inform capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational decisions

• Experience in people management
