Architect - Healthcare

Overview

In this role you help lead healthcare design delivery within Arcadis’ multidisciplinary studio. You’ll coordinate design and construction phases, drive high-quality architectural solutions, and mentor junior staff while supporting program and resource planning. You will work across healthcare and science projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape sustainable, patient-centred spaces.

The role combines hands-on project leadership with business development and stakeholder management, within a culture that values inclusive, innovative problem solving.

• Coordinate design and construction phases of projects of varying size
• Lead elements of large/complex projects independently
• Manage client relationships, team communication, and budgets
• Maintain project documentation, drawings and specifications
• Handle change control, RFIs, and proposals/submissions
• Interface with statutory authorities during design and construction
• Adhere to quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures
• Contribute to business development and office activities
• Resolve complex technical and design issues

• RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered
• minimum 3 years qualification
• experience on UK healthcare projects
• experience on larger projects and day-to-day leadership of smaller projects
• working knowledge of Revit and BIM experience
