AR Accounting Specialist (Hiring Immediately)

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing order to the numbers, improving processes, and being a key contributor to a collaborative accounting team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, posting payments, credit memos, and customer account reconciliation
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and work professionally with customers to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and balancing the books
• Accurately enter and maintain financial data within Sage accounting software
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, and operations) to ensure accurate billing and revenue tracking
• Partner with leadership and teammates to apply feedback, refine workflows, and continuously improve accounting processes
• Provide support for audits, reporting, and general accounting functions as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable required
• Hands-on experience using Sage accounting softwarepreferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to receive feedback with a track record of learning, adapting, and working collaboratively with others
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass background check and drug test

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Rate:

• $22 - $32/Hour
