The ABF Grocery division, of which we are part, contains a number of household name brands including Kingsmill, Patak’s, Blue Dragon, Raja Spices, Jordans and Dorset cereals, Ryvita and Silver Spoon. Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division.
Supporting some of our well‑known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS. About the Role We are looking for a Fixed Term (12 months) experienced Application Support Analyst in our Operations Team.
As an experienced Operational Applications Services Analyst, you will be responsible for the continual delivery of services, support, maintenance, and assisting in projects in relation to our operational applications. Responsibilities Fixing ERP operational issues. Troubleshooting/resolving reported problems.
Assisting with the daily maintenance of the software within our application portfolio. Escalation management to our 3rd party support teams. Maintaining and updating our existing technical documentation within our application portfolio.
Performing required project support/development. This role may also require out of hours support as well as performing additional duties as agreed with the Head of Application Support. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience of maintaining and supporting software applications.
Required Skills Experience implementing and configuring software for users. Demonstrable expertise in maintenance of Business Rules and Business Configuration. Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes.
Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills. Creation of Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for improvement projects including specifications for configuration changes, data migration, and system integrations. Building and configuring of business workflows.
Schedules work to be done and follows up to ensure completion within deadlines. Preferred Skills Skilled in functional and technical design. Experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, etc.).
