Application Owner

Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Owner to integrate our teams, taking responsibility for the operational management, evolution, and availability of critical corporate applications. This role focuses on ensuring high service quality while articulating effectively between internal teams and external partners responsible for development and application maintenance.

What you will do

• Take functional and technical ownership of a portfolio of critical applications;
• Ensure application availability, stability, performance, and service continuity;
• Coordinate external vendors responsible for application development and maintenance (corrective and evolutionary);
• Act as the main point of contact between business areas, IT teams, and technology partners;
• Monitor platforms, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities;
• Manage security-related topics such as vulnerabilities, patching, and licensing;
• Define, implement, and test Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures;
• Support troubleshooting, incident analysis, and root cause identification.

What you are like

• Proficient in Application Management within critical enterprise environments;
• Experience with Linux systems and Open Source ecosystems;
• Experience in middleware technologies such as Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server;
• Comfortable working with containerisation/orchestration platforms, namely Kubernetes;
• Solid understanding of application monitoring, performance optimisation, and incident management.
