Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  
• Collaborate closely with designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
  
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
  
• Mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
  
• Contribute to technical decision-making.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
  
• Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented
  
• Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in React.js, including hooks, Redux, state management, and component lifecycle.
  
• Strong experience with Node.js for backend development, API creation, and integration.
  
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript, including static typing, interfaces, and best practices.
  
• Solid understanding of modern software design patterns and best practices.
  
• Experience with version control systems such as Git. o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
