Anaplan Developer

Job Title: Anaplan Developer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Pan India Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Developer to design, build, and support scalable Anaplan models for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Performance Management. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, user-friendly Anaplan solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models based on business requirements Translate business logic into structured lists, modules, actions, and dashboards Optimize models for performance, scalability, and usability Develop and manage data integrations using Anaplan Connect, APIs, CloudWorks, or ETL tools Create intuitive dashboards, worksheets, and user experiences Apply best practices such as DISCO, PLANS, and proper model architecture Perform model testing, validation, and deployment Support UAT, production issues, and enhancement requests Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and IT teams Document model design, data flows, and business logic Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Anaplan model building Expertise in: Lists, Hierarchies, Modules, Versions, Actions Time, Concurrency, and User access settings Good knowledge of Anaplan formulas and functions Experience with: Data integrations (Anaplan Connect, APIs, ETL tools) Import/export automation Ability to troubleshoot model performance and data issues Experience building executive dashboards and reports Functional Knowledge Strong understanding of at least one domain: Financial Planning (FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting) Sales Planning Supply Chain Planning Workforce / HR Planning Good-to-Have Skills Anaplan Model Builder Certification (Level 2 or above) Experience with Hyperautomation, Polaris, or ALM Exposure to Agile / Scrum project environments Client-facing or consulting experience Knowledge of Excel power modeling / financial modeling Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to understand complex business requirements Team player with a proactive mindset Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or relevant field
