What is the opportunity? As part of the Chief Data Office (CDO) Data Shared Services team, the Analyst, Data Lineage & Control will be responsible for documenting all aspects of the data lineage lifecycle from the original source of the data to the point of consumption of the data into a report, including any associated data transformations. What will you do? Understand and document the lineage of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) from originating source to point of consumption of data into a report or other risk management activity Collaborate with other Data Management Offices, Data Custodians and Data Stewards to understand data lineage reporting standards and best practices. Leverage data lineage artifacts captured by other Data Management Offices and share artifacts captured by Risk Data Management Office to avoid duplication of effort. Identify & communicate options to optimize the process of data lineage capture and documentation. Develop knowledge and become valuable team resource, supporting development of Data Lineage in general. What do you need to succeed? Must Have 1 – 2 years’ experience in data management, data lineage capture, data analysis or any other related data programs Post-Secondary education or equivalent in Finance, Data Analysis or other related programs Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Datameer, SQL, Python Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets.
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and compliance Experience with data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority. Nice to Have Graduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent Minimum 2 years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy or Process / Productivity Improvements Lean or Process Improvement Designations What’s in it for you?
