The role of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) Business Support team is to provide valuable support, monitoring and reporting as well as acting as an effective 1st line of defence for all areas within GCIB (both from an existing and new client perspective)
Main Purpose of the Role:
This individual will be responsible for supporting the Client Support Team by effectively managing various adhoc / non-revenue generating tasks. This will include stakeholder management, and a drive to improve the service provided to the customer and the business.
The individual will also be responsible for supporting MUFG Bank clients (existing business relationships and New business relationships).
Key Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks across the Client Support Team which include;
- Mandate queries and amendments
- Audit queries
- General bank account queries, including payments, interest confirmation etc.
- Statement queries and requests
- Static data updates, including account office code change
- Account id activation and account closure
- Support the Know your Customer process across the Client On-Boarding team, providing administrative support for all related tasks. This includes supporting the Business as Usual process for both New and Existing customers, as well as Ad-hoc support as required
- Assist the business where changes occur to existing customer profiles, by taking appropriate actions (i.e. conducting interim Partial Assessments, system updates and escalating where appropriate)
- Facilitate the setup of non-KYC entries into the relevant systems, ensuring data is accurate and controls are sufficiently in place. This includes Guarantors, Non-trading roles, duplicates entries.
Work Experience:
Essential:
- Experience in Anti Money Laundering, fraud and bribery or Financial Crime roles (BENEFICIAL)
- Proven track record of efficiency improvements and the ability to work on ones own initiative
