Professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments are essential. The registered nurse must work independently and complete assignments.

Guidelines include provider orders and healthcare policies and procedures. The nurse will support individuals and their families. Clinical decisions are made independently during the scheduled shift.

Participation in developing nursing objectives and standards is required. Implementing and coordinating nursing policies, procedures, and care plans is key. Interpreting policies for personnel, patients, visitors, and family members is part of the role.

Ensuring patient rights are upheld is critical. Adhering to infection control procedures is mandatory. Creating a warm and positive environment is essential.

Training department personnel and making recommendations regarding training is part of the job. Completing necessary administrative forms and reports is required. Evaluating and assisting care plans is part of the responsibilities.

Confidentiality of patient information must be maintained. Evaluating emergencies and determining appropriate measures is crucial. Making independent decisions regarding nursing care is expected.
