Aircraft Loads Engineer – Aerospace Certification & Flight Dynamics Location : Montreal, QC, Canad a Employment Typ e: Full-Ti me We are seeking an Aircraft Loads Engineer to support advanced aerospace programs focused on aircraft loads analysis, flight dynamics, aeroelasticity, simulation, and certification. This position will contribute to both new aircraft development and continued airworthiness initiatives through advanced modeling, analysis, and engineering validation activiti es.Responsibilit iesConduct simulations and analyses to determine aircraft design loads for new and in-service aircraft progra ms.Develop and maintain low-fidelity and high-fidelity external loads mode ls.Create automated tools and frameworks to improve analysis efficiency, traceability, and accura cy.Support development of store-separation loads analysis capabilities for missionized aircraft applicatio ns.Develop nonlinear actuator models supporting certification requiremen ts.Utilize commercial and proprietary aerospace analysis tools, including six-degree-of-freedom aircraft simulation environmen ts.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structures, systems, flight sciences, and certification engineeri ng.Support aircraft certification and airworthiness compliance activiti es.Required Qualificati onsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipli ne.Experience in aircraft loads analysis and aerospace engineeri ng.Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aeroelasticity, flutter, and unsteady aerodynami cs.Experience with nonlinear modeling and simulation techniqu es.Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C++, and/or Fortr an.Experience with numerical methods and scientific computi ng.Familiarity with finite element analysis tools such as Nastr an.Experience using version control systems such as G it.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skil ls.Preferred Qualificati onsExperience supporting aircraft certification activiti es.Experience with fly-by-wire systems and control law integrati on.Knowledge of Transport Canada or equivalent airworthiness requiremen ts.Experience with high-performance computing environmen ts.Experience developing engineering automation tools and workflo ws.Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods clearan ce.
