AIF Analyst

Hiring: Assistant Manager – AIF Analytics | Mumbai | 0–2 Years Experience We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join our AIF Analytics team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone early in their career with a strong interest in capital markets, data analysis, and alternative investments. What you’ll be working on: Developing benchmarks and benchmarking analytics for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) Creating and publishing standard and custom AIF reports Managing and maintaining AIF datasets, including resolving data queries with stakeholders Calculating key performance metrics such as IRRs and investment multiples Delivering insights through structured analysis and reporting Collaborating with technology and business teams to build and improve analytical tools What success looks like: High-quality benchmark development within defined timelines Accurate and timely report publishing Strong data management and minimal errors in calculations Positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders Who you’ll work with: Internal teams: Technology, Data Operations, Finance, Compliance, Business Development External stakeholders: AMCs, ETF issuers, regulators, brokers, and global data vendors What we’re looking for: MBA / CA / CFA (or pursuing) Strong interest in capital markets and financial products Basic understanding of AIFs and investment performance metrics Solid analytical skills and attention to detail Good communication and presentation skills Ability to manage timelines and work independently Exposure to SQL or Python is a plus Why consider this role: Opportunity to work on high-impact analytics in the investment space Exposure to market participants and global stakeholders A role with ownership, visibility, and learning opportunities
