As a Senior Architect , you will define the architecture and technical direction for T-Mobile's Oracle ERP and supply chain platforms, with a primary focus on microservices architecture design, Oracle ERP and supply chain platform integration.
You will partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders to modernize Oracle ERP and supply chain platforms, integrate enterprise systems, and deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep expertise in enterprise ERP and supply chain architecture, enterprise integration, cloud-native technologies, and digital transformation. You will influence architecture across multiple domains while ensuring solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Defining end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle ERP and supply chain platforms. Lead Oracle ERP and supply chain platform integration with new module functionalities, upgrades, integrations, and modernization initiatives. Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions supporting high-volume supply chain and ERP transactions.
Establish architecture standards, design principles, and reusable solution patterns across engineering teams. Design integrations between Oracle ERP, supply chain, and enterprise platforms including procurement, inventory, logistics, order management, and customer-facing applications. Lead architectural decisions related to supply chain operations, ERP workflows, procurement lifecycle, and operational reporting.
Ensure solutions support regulatory compliance, auditability, security, and operational excellence. Design and integrate Generative AI, AI agents, and intelligent automation into enterprise business processes to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Architect secure integrations with enterprise AI services, LLMs, AI gateways.
Establish governance, security, observability, and responsible AI design principles for AI-enabled applications. Partner with AI Engineering and Data Science teams to operationalize AI solutions in production environments. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend architecture patterns that accelerate innovation while ensuring scalability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Technical Leadership: Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, and Architects to develop technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy. Guide engineering teams through architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical governance. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modernization strategies including AI-enabled capabilities, cloud adoption, and automation.
Mentor engineers and architects while promoting engineering excellence and architectural consistency. Architect enterprise integrations using APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms. Drive adoption of microservices, cloud-native architecture, containerization, and DevOps best practices.
Define integration strategies across SQL/NO SQL databases, enterprise applications, and distributed services. Partner with Cloud, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure scalable, highly available infrastructure. Design highly available, resilient systems supporting zero-downtime deployments and disaster recovery.
Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and performance engineering are embedded into architectural designs. Support release planning, capacity planning, production readiness, and technology risk management. Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-assisted operations, and architecture modernization.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience. 5+ years of hands-on Oracle ERP implementation, configuration, or integration experience. Proven experience architecting enterprise ERP and supply chain platforms supporting procurement, inventory management, order fulfillment, or logistics systems. Experience designing highly scalable distributed systems using modern software architecture principles.
Strong experience leading architecture across cross-functional engineering organizations. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business. Experience modernizing legacy ERP and supply chain platforms into cloud-native architectures.
Experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), Oracle Fusion ERP, or related Oracle Cloud applications. Experience implementing AI-enabled business capabilities and intelligent automation. Experience within telecommunications, banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Deep expertise in Oracle ERP and supply chain architecture, configuration, integrations, and platform capabilities including Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle SCM Cloud, and related modules. Strong understanding of supply chain operations, procurement workflows, inventory management, order-to-cash cycles, and enterprise resource planning.
Knowledge of enterprise compliance requirements, data governance, auditability, and secure system design for ERP environments. Enterprise Architecture Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and solution design. Strong expertise in microservices, distributed systems, API architecture, and event-driven integration patterns.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle Database, SQL, and NoSQL technologies. Experience designing integrations using messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Cloud & DevOps Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI), and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, DevOps automation, and modern software delivery practices. Knowledge of observability platforms including Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and OpenTelemetry. Leadership & Communication Exceptional architecture leadership and technical decision-making skills.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities. Ability to influence engineering teams across multiple organizations without direct authority. Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
