AI & Automation Analyst (Investment Banking)

We provide private placement, M&A, and strategic advice to leading growth stage technology, AI and digital infrastructure companies. CCA is growing and is looking to hire an AI & Automation Analyst to build, automate, and continuously improve the technology and AI tools that power our deal execution.

This Delhi, India-based role covers SE Asia and India. It is for an exceptionally motivated and technically gifted individual who wants to sit at the intersection of technology and finance, and to shape how a modern investment bank operates in two of the world’s largest and fastest growing technology markets. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As an AI & Automation Analyst, you will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team and involved in projects across the APAC region that may include, but are not limited to: Build and maintain the internal tools, automations, and AI-driven workflows that power our private placement, M&A, and strategic advisory mandates.

Map, document, and continuously improve our deal execution process – from investor outreach and CRM through to data-room management and reporting. Develop AI-powered solutions for tasks like research, drafting, data extraction, and document generation, and embed them into the team’s day-to-day workflow. Build and manage the data pipelines and dashboards that organise our investor, company, and deal data for fast, reliable decision-making.

Own and improve our internal systems and CRM – configuring, integrating, and automating across the tools the team relies on. Track new AI and automation tooling, and bring the best of it into how Cap Connect operates. KEY COMPETENCIES Mandatory requirement of 1-3 years experience in a technical or builder role (e.g. software engineering, data, automation, or product), ideally with some exposure to finance, investment banking, or a startup.

Good academic credentials from top institutions - undergraduate or masters program. Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge. Methodical, meticulous and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Excellent communication, business writing, and research skills. Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Familiarity with data, CRM, and workflow tools is a plus (e.g., Python/pandas, SQL, Airtable, HubSpot, Zapier/Make, Capital IQ, Tracxn, etc.).

Familiarity with the tools we use day to day is a plus (e.g., Claude, Notion, Zoom, Excel, etc.). Preference for candidates with demonstrated exposure to the startup ecosystem.
