Agitator Truck Driver

Our client is a nationally recognised precast concrete manufacturer based in the Naval Base area, they are looking for an experienced Agitator Truck Driver to join their growing team on an ongoing basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, a competitive hourly rate and plenty of opportunity for overtime and Saturday work.

The Role

As an Agitator Truck Driver, you'll play an important role in ensuring concrete is delivered safely and efficiently to customer and construction sites across the metro area.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Safely operate and drive an agitator truck to deliver concrete to various customer and construction sites
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle checks
• Load, transport and discharge concrete safely and efficiently
• Liaise with the batching plant, dispatch team and customers to coordinate deliveries
• Complete delivery dockets, logbooks and other required paperwork
• Wash down and clean the truck and agitator drum after each delivery
• Follow all WHS, traffic management and fatigue management requirements
• Maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation and safety at all times

To be successful, you'll need:

• A valid HR, HC or MC Driver's Licence
• Previous agitator/concrete truck driving experience
• Construction white card
• A strong commitment to safety and reliable work practices
• The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
• Australian Permanent Residency with full working rights - unfortunately, no Working Holiday Visas

• Monday-Friday, 5:00am - 3:00pm
