Manufacturing Engineer | Carson, CA | Aerospace A well-established aerospace manufacturer in Carson is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production in a regulated AS9100 environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong recent aerospace manufacturing experience who can bring both solid shop-floor fundamentals and a modern mindset around process improvement, tooling/fixtures, work instructions, and practical automation. What you’ll do: Improve manufacturing processes for aerospace parts and assemblies Create and maintain routers, travelers, work instructions, and process documentation Partner with Engineering on DFM/DFA efforts Lead continuous improvement initiatives tied to cycle time, scrap, flow, and throughput Troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions Support tooling/fixture development and production readiness Work cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering What they’re looking for: 3-5 years of recent aerospace manufacturing experience Strong shop-floor process knowledge in a regulated environment Experience improving work instructions, process flow, and production documentation Hands-on problem solver who can identify issues and implement practical fixes Comfortable in AS9100-driven manufacturing Nice to have: Lean / Six Sigma tools Tooling and fixture experience Time studies, capacity planning, cycle-time optimization Basic CAD familiarity If you have recent aerospace manufacturing experience and have successfully improved cost, quality, throughput, safety, or cycle time, I’d love to connect.
