Job Profile: AEO Specialist Office Location: Gurgaon/Hybrid/Remote Job Type: Full-time Role Overview We are hiring an SEO & AI Search Specialist to drive organic growth, technical SEO excellence, and AI search visibility across CoinGape's editorial, evergreen, and commercial content portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex SEO problems, building scalable optimization systems, and experimenting with emerging AI search platforms. You will work directly with editorial, engineering, product, and leadership teams to improve: Organic traffic AI citations Topical authority Crawl efficiency Content discoverability EEAT signals AI Search Optimization (AEO / GEO) Develop and execute strategies to improve visibility across: Google AI Overviews Google AI Mode ChatGPT Gemini Perplexity Copilot Identify factors influencing AI citations and answer engine visibility Build repeatable frameworks for improving citation rates and brand mentions within AI-generated responses Monitor AI search visibility and recommend experiments to improve performance Technical SEO Own technical SEO audits and implementation recommendations Improve: Crawl efficiency Indexation Internal linking Structured data Core Web Vitals Site architecture Analyze crawl logs and identify opportunities to improve search engine access to important content Partner with engineering teams to resolve technical SEO issues Editorial & Publisher SEO Collaborate with editorial teams to improve rankings for: Evergreen content Commercial content Comparison pages Guides and explainers Develop content frameworks that strengthen topical authority and EEAT Optimize content for both traditional search and AI retrieval systems Create internal linking strategies that improve discoverability and authority flow Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience Strong understanding of: Technical SEO Content SEO Internal linking Site architecture Structured data EEAT Demonstrated experience improving rankings on large content websites Ability to explain and implement AEO, GEO, and AI search optimization strategies Experience with: Google Search Console Ahrefs SEMrush Screaming Frog GA4 Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret search data and identify opportunities Preferred Qualifications Experience in crypto, fintech, financial publishing, or news media Experience with: Log file analysis JavaScript SEO Publisher SEO Large-scale internal linking Experience measuring and improving AI search visibility Success Metrics The first 6 months of success will be measured through: Organic Search Growth in non-branded organic traffic Growth in rankings for strategic keyword clusters Improvements in crawl and indexation efficiency AI Search Growth in AI citations Growth in AI-visible keyword footprint Increase in brand mentions across AI search platforms Content Authority Improved topical authority within strategic crypto categories Improved EEAT and entity visibility Operational Excellence Reduction in manual SEO workflows Faster identification and resolution of SEO issues
